Policies and Disclaimers
REFUND POLICY
It is our policy not to issue refunds. In the event of a product quality concern, a new item or a credit may be issued at the discretion of Ivory Mill Baking. Item replacement and/or a credit being issued are not a guarantee and are situation-dependent at the discretion of Ivory Mill Baking.
TIMING AND CANCELLATIONS
With Sourdough-based recipes, timing is critical. Orders must be placed or canceled with a MINIMUM of 72 hours notice. This allows sufficient rise time at all stages of baking and prevents rushed or under-proofed goods.
Orders canceled with less than 72 hours' notice are not subject to refund as they have already begun production.
ALLERGY POLICY
While we utilize best practices to prevent cross contamination, we cannot guarantee any item to be allergen-free. As a home bakery, we do not have the appropriate equipment to ensure a true absence of allergen, and therefore do disclaimer that all goods are produced in a kitchen that also handles dairy, eggs, nuts, soy, wheat, and gluten. If you have a specific intolerance, please let us know ahead of time so we can prevent interaction where possible.
HOME BAKERY DISCLAIMER
All products are made in a home bakery and therefore not routinely inspected by the Department of Health.
PAYMENT
Payment is due before the commencement of baking, at the time the order is placed. Payment is due in full unless special circumstances have been addressed and approved.
CHANGES TO ORDERS
Order changes made less than 72 hours in advance are subject to refusal. Please provide notice of cancellation 72 hours in advance of intended pickup or delivery. In the event of cancellation with less than 72 hours notice, arrangements must be made to pick up any goods ordered and no refunds will be given.
PICK UP AND DELIVERY
PICK-UP
Pick-up times must be arranged and scheduled in a window. Orders must be picked up within the agreed upon window. If the order hasn't been picked up within 24 hours (without prior contact/arrangement) will be forfeited and no refunds will be given.
DELIVERY
Delivery is occasionally available at an additional cost. Delivery is not guaranteed. Please confirm at the time the order is placed.
IN THE EVENT OF ILLNESS OR INJURY
In the event myself or one of my family members falls ill, all customers with booked orders that will be affected will be notified. Those orders will be cancelled and a refund will be given. No goods will be baked or sold until we are cleared health-wise.
